The highlight of the tour is a magnificent Rembrandt that Pendrick purchased on a recent trip to France. The constabulary is hired to guard the painting’s return to the Pendrick mansion and is daringly stolen from the elevator, leaving a dead security guard in the car.

I had heard almost nothing about this movie before I saw it, I had seen the cover/poster, and read the plot on IMDB. Comedy, Drama, normal guy who thinks he is a superhero and all that jazz. Mainly I wanted to watch it because of Woody Harrelson and it had some stuff about the Toronto International Film Festival thingy on the poster. So I thought, Woody in a indie film with superhero stuffs.. count me in.
Review 2 A Kill -
I watched ‘Defendor‘ the other night. Much like Woody Harrelson’s character, I thought I knew what I was in for, but found myself ill-prepared. Whatever your pre-conceived notions going into this, be they based on the synopsis, the poster, Woody’s strung-together-by-a-retarded-kid outfit or the usual death kiss that accompanies the words ‘A Canadian Film,’ throw them out a plate-glass window. ‘Defendor’ is amazing.
For those of you who are able to watch the Murdoch Mysteries series, season three has begun and Peter has a recurring role as Mr. James Pendrick.
